Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 14, 2026 · MyDara

Short version: Dara Rates does not require an account, and most preferences remain on your device. Apple processes Dara Pro Lifetime purchases and memberships, and StoreKit verifies access on your device. The free tier uses Google services for advertising and consent, and limited notification data is sent to MyDara only when you enable notifications.

Scope of This Policy

This policy applies to the MyDara website and MyDara iOS apps, including Dara Rates. Some practices described below apply only when you use the relevant feature, such as advertising or notifications.

MyDara is operated by TheBixel Inc. Dara Rates does not require you to create an account or sign in.

Core Feature Data

Dara Rates does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or financial account information to provide its core features. The app makes network requests to retrieve rates and charts and to check the published App Store version.

  • Requested rate identifiers
  • IP address and approximate network location
  • Request timestamps and technical logs needed for security and troubleshooting

As with any online service, the infrastructure used to deliver and protect the service may process an IP address, an approximate location inferred from the IP address, request timestamps, and standard technical request information. MyDara does not use rate requests to create a personal MyDara user profile.

Local Storage

Your watchlist, converter inputs, and most preferences are stored on your device and in the App Group shared by the app and its widgets. This information is used to personalize your experience.

  • Watchlist (selected rates)
  • Saved notification schedules
  • Converter inputs and settings
  • Language, calendar, and timezone
  • Base currency, number formatting, colors, and display preferences

Quote images are generated on your device and are provided to Photos or another app only when you choose to save or share them. Apple's policies and the receiving app's policies also apply to that transfer.

Saved notification schedules also begin as local data. Only when you enable notifications are the notification language, scheduling and formatting preferences, and selected notification rules synchronized with the service as described below.

Optional Push Notifications

If you grant notification permission and enable one or more scheduled daily notifications for selected rates, Dara Rates creates a registration for this iOS installation on MyDara's service and synchronizes your selected rules with it. This data is used only to schedule, format, deliver, deduplicate, retry, secure, and troubleshoot notifications; MyDara does not use it for advertising.

  • A random installation identifier, synchronization revisions, and authentication data for that installation (the service stores a hash of the credential)
  • An Apple Push Notification service device token and the sandbox or production APNs environment for the iOS app
  • Notification locale, the selected scheduling timezone, and the current device timezone
  • The base-rate identifier (IRT or USD), whether decimals are shown, and the English-or-Persian digit preference
  • For each rule: its identifier, the selected rate identifier, and the selected daily hour and minute
  • Creation, update, last-seen, disable, next-due, scheduled, queue, processing, and completion timestamps, together with delivery identifiers, status, attempt count, result codes, and errors

Each rule contains a random rule identifier, the selected rate identifier, and a daily hour and minute, and is scheduled in your selected timezone. The notification locale, current device timezone, base currency, and decimal and English-or-Persian digit preferences are also sent so the notification can be produced at the time and in the format you selected.

The APNs token is encrypted when stored on the service. To manage delivery reliably, the service records scheduled and operational timestamps, delivery identifiers, delivery status and attempt counts, and APNs results or errors.

When the service receives a disable request, it stops future delivery, removes the APNs token from the registration, disables the rules, and cancels pending deliveries. You can request deletion of the notification registration by contacting Hi@MyDara.io.

Dara Pro and In-App Purchases

Dara Pro includes auto-renewable 1-month, 6-month, and 1-year memberships and a one-time, non-consumable Lifetime purchase. Apple and the App Store process payments, renewals, cancellations, purchase history, payment methods, refunds, and Apple Account authorization under Apple's terms and policies.

Dara Rates uses StoreKit to load product information and localized pricing, cryptographically verify Dara Pro transactions, current entitlements, and expiration on the device, and respond to subscription-status changes. The app does not receive or store your Apple Account name, card number, or other payment credentials.

In the current implementation, MyDara does not send Dara Pro transaction or purchase-history information to its own servers. Expiration, refund, or revocation reported by Apple may remove access. You can use Restore Purchases to synchronize eligible purchases and Manage Membership to change or cancel an auto-renewable plan with Apple.

Google Advertising and Privacy Choices

Dara Rates uses the Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob) to display native ads and the Google User Messaging Platform to request and manage privacy choices.

  • IP address and approximate location
  • Device, advertising, or app/developer-scoped identifiers
  • Advertising data and ad interactions
  • App interactions and performance information
  • Crash logs and other diagnostic information
  • Consent status and privacy choices

Depending on your region, consent, and device settings, Google may serve personalized, non-personalized, limited, or technical ads. Google may process the data below to provide ads, measure performance, cap frequency, prevent fraud and abuse, perform analytics, improve its services, and personalize ads where permitted.

When required by law or service configuration, the app displays a consent message and makes an Ad Privacy option available so you can change or withdraw applicable choices. Google's processing and retention are governed by Google's own policies.

After a verified Dara Pro entitlement becomes active, the app stops requesting and displaying Google ads and does not initiate an advertising-consent or tracking-authorization prompt for that purpose. The free tier continues to include advertising and the processing described in this section.

Service Providers and Disclosures

MyDara processes or shares only the information needed for the relevant service with the following providers:

  • Google for advertising, consent management, measurement, analytics, and fraud prevention in the free tier
  • Apple for StoreKit payment, renewal, cancellation, and refund processing, Dara Pro entitlement verification, APNs delivery, App Store version checks, and system features you choose to use
  • Cloudflare for website and API hosting, database services, content delivery, and network security
  • Legal or security authorities when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect users and the service

Website and Support Requests

The MyDara website has no user accounts and currently includes no advertising SDK or separate analytics tool. Its infrastructure provider may process IP addresses, request headers, and technical logs to deliver content, secure the service, and diagnose errors.

If you email support, we process your email address, message, and any information you voluntarily provide to respond to and manage your request.

Sale, Retention, and Security

MyDara does not sell your personal information. MyDara does not operate a separate behavioral analytics or account-profiling system. Google advertising services may, however, process the data described in the advertising section according to your choices and Google's policies.

Local preferences remain until you reset settings or remove the app, and saved notification schedules remain until you remove them or remove the app. Notification registrations and active rules are retained while needed to provide the feature. The service is configured to delete terminal delivery records for sent, failed, or cancelled notifications 30 days after completion, disabled registrations 90 days after disablement, and registrations that have remained inactive with no active rules for 90 days; you may also request earlier deletion. Support correspondence is retained as reasonably needed to respond, maintain security, comply with law, and keep ordinary business records. Google, Apple, and Cloudflare retain data according to their own policies.

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Your Choices and Rights

You can remove individual notification schedules, turn all notifications off in Dara Rates, or revoke notification permission in iOS Settings. You can also change applicable advertising choices through the in-app Ad Privacy option, restore eligible Dara Pro purchases with your Apple Account, manage or cancel a membership through Apple, remove local data by using Reset Settings or deleting the app, and manage Google advertising preferences through Google Ad Settings.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing and to withdraw consent. Contact Hi@MyDara.io to exercise these rights or request deletion of a notification registration. We may request only the information reasonably necessary to locate the relevant record.

Children's Privacy

Dara Rates can be used without providing a name or contact details, and we do not knowingly ask children to provide those details. If a parent or legal guardian believes that a child has sent information to us, please contact us so we can review and delete it.

International Processing

Service providers may process information in countries outside your place of residence. When they do, the processing is subject to applicable law and the safeguards maintained by the relevant provider.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy when features, providers, or legal requirements change. The revised policy will be posted on this page, and the date above shows the latest review.
